Afrocandy needs funds from the public to send her child to school

Afrocandy, real name Judith Okpara Mazagwu shared a link on her Facebook page yesterday asking for donations, claiming she needs the money to pay the school fees of one of her daughters who just got admission into the university.

Afrocandy wrote on twitter that the post was true, dispelling any tale that her facebook account might have been hacked. read the note below

Video: Arik Air keeps passengers hostage including Banky W

Passengers including Banky W on an Arik flight from Lagos to New York were subjected to untold hardship occasioned by delays in checking in and excruciating heat after boarding the aircraft. The air condition was not working. After enduring the airline's shenanigan for a while, the passengers took to protesting on board.

Mass sack in telecommunication sector: Etisalat sacks 2000 staff, MTN sacks 250

Falling revenues appear to be taking their toll  on operators in the telecommunications sector with the loss of more than 2 250 jobs in recent days.

While Etisalat sacked 2 000 workers last week, MTN has announced that 252 engineers have been relieved of their jobs.

Explaining its decision to terminate the employment of the workers, Etisalat said their services were no longer needed in the company.

Nigerians hospitalised after mob attack in South Africa

Some days ago, specifically Wednesday and Thursday April 2nd and 3rd, Nigerians in Johannesburg and Pretoria were physically attacked by a group of organized gang members and Commercial Taxi drivers in South Africa. These hoodlums destroyed and looted over 25 shops belonging to Nigerians. Though no Nigerian died in the attack, Nigerian residents there say at least ten Nigerians have been hospitalized with a few battling for their lives.

Twerking Gone Wrong! 100-Level Covenant University Student Allegedly Expelled for Naked Viral Video

It is sad how in the age of social media, things go viral at the speed of light.

A 100-Level Covenant University student Bisi has allegedly been expelled after a video of her twerking naked has gone viral.

In the clip, Bisi is seen completely naked, dancing and twerking with her fully clothed roommate who goes by the name MhiZ Jacklyn on Twitter.

Bisi’s racy video is currently trending on Twitter. A few hours ago, the friend clarified that she didn’t leak the video. She claims that a male CU student took the video from the recycle bin on her laptop.
