Our hearts break today with the latest sad Kardashian news. Scott Disick's dad, Jeffrey Disick, died Friday, according to E! News. Although the cause of death has yet to be confirmed, we do know that Disick's real estate developer dad was in Los Angeles at the time of his passing.
This sad, sad news comes nearly two months after Disick's mother, Bonnie, passed away at age 63 in Long Island at the family home where Scott was raised.
A source tells E! that "the whole family is so devastated." Now an only child with no other family, Scott is reportedly "beside himself" and hasn't posted to any of his social media accounts since the loss of his father and has yet to comment on the tragedy.
My heart just breaks for Scott.
No matter how old you are, it's hard to lose a parent at any age. But to lose two parents within two months? The pain Scott must be feeling right now has to be immense. Considering Scott is only 30 years old, this is something I'm sure he never imagined.
I wouldn't be surprised, in the wake of this news, if we see Scott and Kourtney finally tie the knot at some time in the near future. When you lose someone you love, oftentimes it makes you realize how important those that are closest to you really are. I've never doubted that Scott and Kourtney would stay together, but I could see him wanting to make her his wife now more than ever, solidifying his own adorable family alongside Mason and Penelope, now that he's without his parents.
He's lucky he has Kourtney and her loving family to find comfort in during this difficult time. My deepest condolences to Scott and his entire family.
