Oscar Pistorius has sold the villa where he killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp , it emerged today.
The 27-year-old athlete is selling his home in the South African capital Pretoria to help fund his legal bills.
During the Paralympian's trial today, his lawyer Brian Webber said an offer to buy the house had been accepted.
Mr Webber - who did not reveal who was buying the house - said the sale was currently being processed, Mail Online reported.
It is not known how much the large home, which is in a gated community, is being sold for. However, Pistorius had it valued for about £265,000 last year.
During his trial today, a social worker and probation officer who was assigned to Pistorius hours after he killed Ms Steenkamp spoke about how he was heartbroken following her death
Prosecutors say Pistorius is lying about events on the fatal night and the couple were up arguing late into the night before Pistorius shot Steenkamp multiple times.
Pistorius said that the couple ate dinner at around 7pm on the night she was killed, and they were in bed at around 10pm. Pistorius shot Ms Steenkamp soon after 3am.
Pistorius has pleaded not guilty to intentionally killing the 29-year-old, saying he mistook her for a burglar. He also faces three other firearms charges.
He faces a maximum of 25 years in prison if convicted of murder.
