Saturday Night Live Parody Ad about ISIS

On the poplar show in America, Saturday Night Live. There happened to be a twist on the show that very day which has caused controversies online.

The terrorist group which everyone is talking about ISIS was ridiculed in a parody of an original ad by Toyota Camry.

The Toyota Bold Choices Commercial which shows a Fathers relationship with his Daughter. They are both emotional as he drives her off to the airport to join the army.

TOTOYA ORIGINAL COMMERCIAL

Saturday Night Live decided to do a reverse of the Toyota original Ad. It starred 50 shade of Grey Actor Dakota Johnson as the Dad who drives off his daughter not to join the army this time around but to join ISIS.

When he shows a bit of fear and tells his daughter to be take care, she simply replied : Dad its just ISIS, really.

I was furious when i saw this Ad on CNN, the video has already gotten over 1,300,000 views on Youtube, currently has more views than the original commercial.

Sincerely i get what the show is trying to do, make jest of the deadly group and obviously make them powerless but from my own point of view i feel this isn't a case of mocking the deadly group but has become a sensitive issue if you look at it from the angle of giving of your daughter to die.

The whole world is literally against ISIS presently the war against ISIS has being tagged the 3rd world war. You don't want to give sacrifice any member of your family. I won't do that.

The humour portrayed in this skit is not evident rather its more on the sensitive side.

  4. We need more of this ridicule against ISIS. Viewers are NOT stupid. They get it! They are far less victimized than critics think. Comedy relieves stress. The essence of humor is that it reveals the truth.
