Chidinma remains on top of MTV Base official Naija top 10

Chidinma continues to occupy the number one slot at the top of the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 Powered by Star Music – the first ever-female artist to hold the honour.  ‘E Mi Ni Baller’, the stunning video shot by Clarence Peters and featuring label mates Tha Suspect and Illbliss, is holding off all contenders – for the time being.

DJ Neptune joins VJ Ehis in the Top 10 studio this week to run through the week’s movers and shakers on the Naija music scene. D’Banj, who is starting to nip at Chidinma’s heels, moving into the number 2 position with ‘Don’t Tell Me Nonsense‘.

Two new entries liven up this week’s chart: Olamide with ‘Duro Soke’ at number 8 and Skuki with ‘Voom Va‘ at number 9. Former number ones P-Square drop one place to number 4 while Burna Boy moves up one place to number 3 with ‘Run My Race’. Last week’s highest climber Timaya in stuck at number 6 with ‘Ekoloma Demba‘ while DJ Xclusive is sitting tight at number 5 with ‘No Time’.

Former number one Wande Coal’s ‘The Kick’ is still hanging in there, sticking firmly to the number 7 slot for the second week.  BET Award winner Ice Prince finally drops out of the chart as does 2Face.
