The 30-year-old is seen provocatively shaking her behind alongside rapper Busta Rhymes in the music video for his aptly named single Twerk It.
At one point Busta Rhymes starts rapidly repeating 'Twerk it' as Nicki jiggles her behind.
Throughout Busta regards and gestures at the American Idol judge's derriere, which she apparently relishes as she shakes it against him.
Nicki even turns her back to the camera and reaches her hand down to the floor as she moves her bottom up and down.
Nicki has had some practice twerking. Last week she released an Instagram video showing her performing the dance in a pool, and she also displayed her skills in Ciara's music video I'm out.
The twerk craze has been embraced by several celebrities in the music industry, including Nicki, Miley, Britney Spears and One Direction.
The dance style requires a lot of rump shaking and squatting.
